PhD candidate Alana, has completed her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology with First Class Honours at Curtin University and received the Vice Chancellor’s award for her cohort. She has experience in neurodegeneration and age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s Disease and hopes to develop novel strategies aimed at mitigating the onset of disease through early interventions and preventions, particularly through lifestyle and genetic avenues.
